Directed Draft, A guided writing group

Directed Draft is an eight-week structured scholarly writing group that I run with a few other developmental editors and writing coaches.

We developed Directed Draft based on our extensive experience supporting authors in the social sciences and humanities. It features two core components to help academic authors make the most of their writing time:

• Individual coaching sessions provide personalized feedback and guidance to help you focus and advance your project

• Group writing sessions (two facilitated and two unguided sessions per week) build accountability, regularity, and connection to strengthen your writing practice. Facilitated sessions feature on-the-spot writing support to help you keep momentum when you hit a block
